Using Ancient, Hellenistic Astrology
The birth chart is a snapshot of the sky at the moment of your birth that gives us clues about your personality and your life. Ancient, Hellenistic Astrologers understood the Astrology of your birth chart to be like a ship. In this metaphor, the "ruler of the ascendant" is the planet that has their hands on the helm of the boat, steering the ship of your life. The energy of this planet tells us the core archetype of who you are, and which house he falls in tells us the direction the ship is moving towards, or what the major focus of your life is.
Understand that there are many ways to interpret these results. Without the context of your life to flesh out the details, your results here will be relatively simple and abstract. To get a clearer idea of what’s in store for you, you might like to book a consultation or come to a workshop with me.
Also note that the exact birth time is required for this technique. In certain cases, even a few minutes may change the results.
A note on age: If your results don’t resonate and you are under the age of 31 (or even 60), you might consider that much remains to be seen about the trajectory of your life. You can think of these results as how you might reflect on who you were and what you accomplished or focused on as you sit on your death bed, looking back on the totality of your time on Earth.
